Grey Gambiza Moyo, Veteran Broadcaster And War Veteran, Dies At 68

Zimbabwe mourns the loss of Grey Gambiza Moyo, a legendary voice of the airwaves and liberation war veteran. Moyo, remembered for his iconic environmental program Zvisikwa Zvesango on Radio 2 (now Radio Zimbabwe), passed away at the age of 68.  
His deep, resonant voice defined the golden era of broadcasting, bringing environmental awareness and cultural pride to households across the nation. As a war veteran, his service extended beyond the battlefield into the realm of public education, where he championed conservation and national identity.  

Colleagues and listeners alike hail him as a guardian of Zimbabwe’s natural heritage and a mentor to younger broadcasters. His passing leaves a silence where once there was a voice that carried wisdom, patriotism, and love for the land.
