❤️ HELP MEMORY MKANGE FIND HER MATERNAL FAMILY IN ZHOMBE

Image
Memory Mkange By The Great GoneX Memory Mkange, born in Kadoma in 2002, is appealing to the public for help in tracing her mother's family and reconnecting with her maternal relatives. Memory's mother was known as Sbonile Mlilo, who was originally from Zhombe. According to the family information Memory has, Sbonile met Memory's father, Albert Mkange, at Mugodoyi Farm in Kadoma. Sadly, Memory was separated from her mother when she was only one year old. She subsequently grew up in Mberengwa, KwaMposi/Danga kwaMposi, under the guardianship of her paternal grandmother. Although Memory knows something about her paternal side, she has never had the opportunity to know and connect with her mother's family. Today, she is appealing especially to people from Zhombe who may have known Sbonile Mlilo or members of the Mlilo family. Where is Sbonile Mlilo? Does she have brothers or sisters? Are there maternal aunts, uncles, cousins or other relatives who may know about M...

🎭 WINKY D’S HORNED COSTUME: ART, SYMBOLISM OR SATANISM?

Image
By The Great GoneX When Winky D stepped onto the stage at Tête-à-Tête Season 2 at Alex Sports Club on August 29, 2026, he did not merely arrive to perform. He arrived as a visual spectacle. Dressed in an elaborate green-and-gold robe, crowned with enormous horns and surrounded by intricate metallic embellishments, the Zimdancehall icon immediately became the subject of intense discussion. For some viewers, the imagery was theatrical and fascinating. For others, the horns immediately triggered accusations of “satanism” and “dark symbolism.” But before we condemn the imagery, perhaps we should ask a more fundamental question: What does art actually mean? 🌍 THE GOAT MAY BE THE KEY There is an important piece of context that should not be overlooked. The costume formed part of a GOAT-themed visual concept, playing on the popular description of Winky D as the “Greatest of All Time.” The costume featured large horns, elaborate beadwork and a ceremonial-looking coat. ...

A TRIBUTE TO MY BELOVED MOM, BATSIRAI DANDADZI

Image
Batsirai Dandadzi  The Woman Who Loved, Healed and Believed in Me With a heart shattered into pieces, I write these words to bid farewell to a woman I loved dearly—a woman who loved me in return and who, in every way that truly mattered, was my beloved mother: Batsirai Dandadzi. She was 51 years old and would have celebrated her 52nd birthday on September 19. Even as I write this, it still feels unreal. Batsirai was not just family to me. She was Mom. Though she was my mother's brother's daughter, the bond between us went far beyond family relationships and titles. We loved each other deeply. She cared about me, encouraged me and believed in me. To me, she was my mother. And now, just like that, she is gone. The Messages That Remained Unread Of late, Mom and I had been in constant touch. We talked about my dreams, my music and the future of LGM Music. She believed in me. She believed in my vision. She had even pledged to help me with the prod...

A Farewell To Dolly Parton: The Woman Whose Music Touched My Soul

Image
Dolly Parton  By John Mutsengi – The Great GoneX Today, my heart is heavy as I bid farewell to one of the greatest musical voices and songwriters the world has ever known — Dolly Parton. To millions around the world, she was the Queen of Country Music. She was a singer, songwriter, storyteller, entertainer and humanitarian. But to me, she was something even more personal: an inspiration. I was a truly ardent fan of Dolly Parton. There was something special about the way she could take simple words, wrap them in beautiful melodies and turn them into songs that spoke directly to the human heart. Her music had warmth. It had honesty. It had emotion. And above all, it had soul. There was also a remarkable personal connection between us — one that I will forever cherish. Dolly Parton and I shared the same birthday, January 19. But our connection goes even deeper: I was born on January 19, 1976, the very day Dolly Parton was celebrating her 30th birthday. As she celebrated th...

DEATHLY SHADOWS

Image
Chapter 1 The Muchina home glowed with quiet opulence, its polished mahogany dining table reflecting the chandelier light like it was auditioning for a furniture commercial. In the affluent Chicago suburbs of Kwekwe, wealth wasn’t just visible—it strutted. Velvet drapes, imported china, and the Sony PVM‑4300 in the lounge screamed: we’ve arrived, and we’re staying.   Mr. Desmond Muchina sat at the head of the table, carving beef with the precision of a surgeon. Beside him, Lillian supervised with the calm authority of a queen. Cordelia, twenty‑one, was elegance in motion; Tadios, eighteen, had the restless energy of someone who thought rules were optional; Lorraine, fifteen, was still deciding whether adulthood was worth the trouble.   In the lounge, the children balanced plates on their laps, glued to Santa Barbara. The actors on screen were busy betraying each other with style, while the Muchinas were busy admiring their own reflection in the glow of im...

Image
By The Great GoneX After 13 years of heartbreak, uncertainty and desperate hope, a Mutare mother has reportedly been reunited with her long-missing daughter, who was found alive in Mozambique after a social media appeal helped trace her family. Tariro Mahumba disappeared in 2013 when she was just five years old. She reportedly vanished from a crèche in Sakubva's OTS section in Mutare, leaving her family without answers for more than a decade. Now 18 years old, Tariro recently resurfaced in Madeira, Mozambique, where she reportedly revealed that she had been kidnapped from Zimbabwe and subjected to years of abuse. The breakthrough reportedly came after Tariro posted a message on social media appealing for help to locate her biological family. Her appeal spread widely online, eventually triggering a search that led to her mother, Georgina Muchekadzose of Fairview, Mutare. Mrs Muchekadzose said she received an emotional phone call on Tuesday night informing her that a youn...
